Your role in the future:

The Software Development Manager’s main mission is to manage and oversee the design and development of software applications, primarily in the domain of postal payment technologies, within the Quadient MRS Technology and Solution Delivery organization. He/She will direct the work of a team of experienced software engineers and test engineers to ensure the best practices around software development and testing.

Beside these management responsibilities and tasks, the manager will be the lead software architect for the team, and may also occasionally act as project manager.

Your Profile:

· Lead the Postal Payment Technologies team located in Milford, CT, USA,

· Lead software development projects within the team scope,

· Ensure all developments, testing and support tasks are carried out by the team in full compliance with Quadient SOC controls.

· Lead the design and architecture of all the software applications within the Postal Payment Technologies team scope, maintain the mid- and long-term vision of the architecture of the Postal Payment Technologies applications and systems portfolio.

· Ensure level 3 support for the ATLAS system.

· Manage the team roadmap and priorities in collaboration with the various Postal Payment Technologies stakeholders (Quadient USA compliance group, MRS product management, Product engineering, TSD senior management and project managers),

· Contribute to the business continuity plan of the ATLAS support activity, which is strategic for Quadient Mailing solution.

· Report monthly on team activities and progress to the senior management,

· Develop the Payment Technology team members

· Strong software development experience with the .Net platform and SQL Server database,

· Strong software architecture design experience with financial systems,

· Cloud application architecture design experience, ideally in Azure

· Strong experience implementing USPS requirements and regulations around postage metering systems,

· Strong knowledge and experience with Postal resetting systems, ideally in the US,

· Team lead experience,

· Strong leadership,

· Excellent problem solving and analytical skills,

· Strong interpersonal skills,

· Written and verbal communication skills,

· Fluent in English.

The position is based in Milford (USA- CONNECTICUT).

This position has a salary range of:

$176,100.00 - $264,200.00

Quadient, Inc. has standard ranges for all U.S. - based roles, based on function, level, and scope, which are benchmarked against companies of similar size and growth-stage. To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share these targets on all job postings . Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, which may include (but are not limited to) geographic location and candidate experience and expertise. As such, they may vary from the ranges listed.
